Gwen

Of course, we couldn't miss out Gwen.
She's a brown, silver and black tabby and utterly loves chasing butterflies and our pet bird Mickey (he loves her too, the two are inseparable!). She is the cutest little cat ever - but so annoyingly fussy! She still stubbornly refuses to eat cat food even through she's almost 2 years old! She expects the world to revolve around her - or else! She demands - with oddly tuned vocal chords - only the best tuna, pilchards and even doggy treats. Yes - she loves them, but we've restricted her to two a day. Our poor greyhound is no longer the 'top dog'.
She's often prioritised over our three other cats - Katie (our nine year old old lady) Tom (my lovely ginger tabby) and Indi (Gwen's tiny little mother.)
Yes, Gwen's a spoilt little Princess.

Intro

Meet Indi and Gwen. Firstly Indi, the troubled orphan of 2004. This poor kitty didn't get off to the best start in life. She was abandoned when she was around 4 weeks old, by which time a kitten is still partially dependent upon its mother's milk. She was then taken in by the most uncapable foster parents on this planet. These "parents" had barely enough money to feed themselves, never mind a depanding kitten in need of urgent vet care.
She then came to us. Thirteen weeks old, desperatly thin, riddled with fleas. Our hearts melted. She was whimpering and cold, thin and weak. We cared for her; nursed her back to health. Slowly but surely she grew to trust us.
And then the inevitable came. As a young female cat...our precious Indi fell pregnant. In warm August 2005 she gave birth to three beautiful kittens in the early hours of the morning. A boy, a girl and another boy. For seven weeks we nurtured them alongside Indi, until the two boys went away to good homes.
And now we have Indi, and her wild, characteristic little baby: Gwen.
Full of life, adventure and curiosity.
